Belize!

We are 40 days away from going to Belize, C.A....I did not think this could happen. Earlier in the year, we were put in contact with a member of our church who was trying to plan a missions trip to Belize, and since Luke grew up there was helpful in arranging some things and providing contacts. Luke said he wanted to go and we tried our best to think ahead and plan for that, but figured because kids were in school and the costs involved did not see how me being able to go would work out. I should know better by now then to question the ways of the Lord. He clearly wanted me to go! Both the funds were raised fairly quickly, and my mother in law offered to come and stay here for the week that we are gone to make sure kids can still go to school. We have been busy planning...I needed a new passport and was worried about timing, but we got it back in 2 weeks(without expedited processing!)

We will be ministering at a detention center and some community work, then will head to Luke's hometown and church his family pastored for some music ministry- Our church worship team will be coming and helping to strengthen the giftings in music that the church already has by doing some music lessons and vocal lessons. We have such a heart for Belize and for all the awesome people we know there. We cannot wait...

On top, this is the first time I've been out of the country since we went last time, almost 13 years ago, and the first time we've been on a trip this long without kids since we've HAD kids! haha...We are so amazingly grateful for this opportunity and we cannot wait to be a blessing and looking forward to how God will move on and in our own hearts as well.
